Biography
Michael Shapley is a dedicated criminal defense attorney who has handled Criminal Litigation his entire career as a lawyer. Michael began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Pinellas County, where he spent nearly three years refining his skills in the courtroom. As an Assistant Public Defender, Michael handled hundreds of Misdemeanor and Felony cases all the way from inception through conclusion. He has tried dozens of jury trials, both misdemeanors and felonies, as lead trial attorney, advocating strongly for clients facing criminal charges. Whether advocating for those facing criminal charges by negotiating favorable plea deals or fighting for acquittal in a jury trial, Michael is devoted to achieving the best possible outcome for clients facing criminal charges.
